Bois-Franc’s thoughtful landscaping allows families to enjoy a variety of sports all year long, such as biking, running, and hiking. The varied environment—which cleverly combines green spaces and bodies of water—opens the door to any number of recreational activities.

A POD neighbourhood
Bois-Franc is a pedestrian-oriented development (POD), meaning the neighbourhood is designed so that all of its essential services are within walking distance of your home.
A number of things were taking into consideration when developing this project:
- Traffic calming techniques were used for the streets and signs were added to further reduce vehicle speeds.
- You can bike or walk to access various means of public transit.
- With all the shops at La Grand-Place and Faubourg Bois-Franc, you can run your errands without having to leave the development.
