Groundbreaking Ceremony

On March 5, Groupe a groundbreaking ceremony marked officially the construction of the WR3 condos in Bois-Franc, in the presence of local elected officials, including mayor Alan DeSousa and councilors Francesco Miele and Jacques Cohen, members of management, employees, and Groupe Montclair partners, Groupe Mach’s Pierre-Jacques Lefaivre, and Patrice Bourbonnais and Tom Arseneault of GROUPE PETRA.

This event had kick off construction, which is expected to run through spring 2020 when the condos are delivered.

After WR and WR2, this third phase of the mixed-use project features an innovative concept with modern residential units and commercial units on the ground floor, providing condo owners with access to a range of shops and essentials services.

“The WR3’s ideal location across from the future Bois-Franc REM (Réseau express métropolitain) station is certainly a major advantage, combined with an exceptional living environment in Bois-Franc and easy access to shops,” said Montclair sales and marketing director Nicolas Galardo.

The 55-unit project has met with tremendous success since its launch in November, with more than 50% of the units already sold.

The project is pursuing LEED Silver certification, with careful attention to the ecological footprint of the building materials used. These priorities guide Groupe Montclair in planning, designing, and building its projects, including the WR3. The Bois-Franc neighborhood is considered an ecological community where the environment, health, and residents’ quality of life come first.
